LUYAA “The Mt. Airy region’s premier football program” has registered over 710 football players for the fall 2008 season and climbing steadily.  The popularity of the program is enormous due to the many levels of competition for placement available to match kids with the appropriate teams for the best overall experience.  In addition LUYAA guarantees play time for all kids who register and attend practice regularly.  While this doesn’t mean your child will play the entire game or be placed in the positon of choice…it does mean that in a team sport requiring lots of dedication and practice that kids should be able to participate in the game and contribute to their team.  The experts agree with this way of thinking.  Kids have fun in a safe environment and are encouraged at all times to give their best effort.   The Mt Airy region is a great place to play youth football.  On-line registration is open at www.luyaa.org  Don’t wait to register too long I heard a rumor that a wait list will be starting soon.  If you live in the Mt. Airy region or nearby Monrovia, Urbana, Ijamsville, New Market, Union Bridge, Frederick, Libertytown and/or parts of Frederick county nearby this is your chance to be part of a great program.

LUYAA online registrtation is open for the fall 2008 season.  The Urbana Hawks and Linganore Lancers are poised for a great season of fun and all around good competition this year as the MMYFCL welcomes TJ, Poolesville, Damascus and the Columbia Ravens as new members of the league.  Remember to register soon to avoid late fees.  Visit www.LUYAA.org for more information.

On May 10th LUYAA will be holding it’s second walk in registration for youth football at the New Market Middle school cafeteria for Mt. Airy region players.  Registration will be from 8:00 AM till 2:00PM on Saturday.  It is recommended that you come early to avoid lines if possible.  All players are welcome regardless of skill level.  LUYAA youth football has many levels of play for all participants to get the most out of thier football experience.

The LUYAA program…a staple of the Mt. Airy region as far as football is concerned is on pace to set record numbers for registered players this year.  An organization that normally would be just starting registration in May is already topping over 495 registered players and counting.  The program wants to continue to grow and offer a great place for kids of all ages to learn how to play football.  The groups growing popularity can be attributed to the overall success of the organization and the desire to let all players participate in every game at every level.  On line registration is currently under way at www.LUYAA.org
